Take on an active challenge in aid of Newport Mind

Physical activity is proven to help improve low mood and other mental health problems. So why not take up an active challenge and fundraise for Newport Mind at the same time?

TrekFest Beacons 2019 (Saturday 6 July 2019)

Discover the stunning Brecon Beacons and raise money for Newport Mind at the same time!

The Brecon Beacons National Park is full of stunning scenery, rolling countryside and impressive mountains. This incredible mountain range runs through the centre of South Wales and is a training ground of the SAS – it will test you to your limits with challenging climbs and steep descents. Both the 25km and 50km routes venture to the summit of Pen Y Fan – the highest peak in southern Britain.

Register here (Select Newport Mind in the drop-down box when asked to choose a charity)

Cardiff Half Marathon (Sunday 6 October)

We have a limited number of charity places available to fundraisers at the Cardiff Half Marathon.

Places for the Half Marathon have sold out in record time, so this is a great way to get hold of a place whilst also raising money to help our charitable work.

Registration will be opening soon. If you'd like to run for better mental health, email David.Hopkins@newportmind.org and we'll sign you up as soon as registration opens.

Newport Marathon and 10K (Sunday 19 April 2020)

In 2019, 20 runners ran for Newport Mind through Newport and Magor - and raised more than £4,000 in the process!

In 2020, we will be hoping to have even more runners taking part and raising money for Newport Mind.

Registration will be opening soon. If you'd like to run for better mental health, email David.Hopkins@newportmind.org and we'll sign you up as soon as registration opens.
