Fundraise for Newport Mind
Running a marathon and want to fundraise for Newport Mind? Or thinking of setting up a coffee morning? Fundraising events like these are a great way to raise money and awareness - plus they're great fun! We'll give you all the support you need, and help you to promote your event or challenge.
Your support is absolutely vital to making sure that we can provide mental health support for people in Newport. We're a local charity, so every penny you raise goes straight to helping those locally who are struggling with their mental health. So whether you're planning on raising £50 with your friends over the weekend, or want to raise £1000 at work over the course of a year, every donation will help us to keep providing support and advice.
If you're planning an event, or you'd like to talk through an idea with us, get in touch by emailing David.Hopkins@newportmind.org. We can also lend you resources, donation buckets and T-shirts if you are hosting an event.
Not sure where to start? Sign up to receive our newsletter and we'll send you monthly ideas and updates about our work.
How Newport Mind uses your donations
More than 2,500 come to Newport Mind each year - to access support, counselling, advice and information about mental health problems. We provide one-to-one support, and a range of groups and activities to help people recover from severe mental health problems. All of this is provided free of charge to the user, thanks to your support.
