Mind our Future Gwent is led by Promo Cymru (*link to their info page*) with us at Newport Mind as the delivery lead, bringing together a team of passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people in Gwent. Through our unique Peer Service Design program, we aim to co-create solutions with young people with lived experience that can address challenges we face with the mental health services currently available in Gwent.

At Mind our Future Gwent, we believe in the power of youth-led innovation and co-production. By harnessing the creativity and insights of our Peer Service Designers, we are driving meaningful change to the mental health system in Gwent

The project is run by a staff team at ProMo-Cymru and Newport Mind, who collaborate with the project partners. 

Our partners are: 

• Three local Minds: 

○ Monmouthshire 

○ Caerphilly Borough 

○ Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent 

• Five local Youth Services: 

○ Blaenau Gwent 

○ Caerphilly 

○ Monmouthshire

○ Newport 

○ Torfaen 

Combined, the partnership has the largest unique knowledge of community strengths and assets which can support the development of Young People’s resilience in Gwent.
