“I would recommend volunteering to anyone, especially those who want to do it, but are scared to take the plunge!” – Cerys
Volunteers Week 2023 Event
Interested in volunteering? Want to find out more? Or already a volunteer and want to meet other volunteers and staff at Newport Mind?
Come along to our #VolunteerWeek event on Saturday 3rd of June!
Join us for Volunteers Week and make a difference for mental health! Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and support mental health. By participating in this event, you will have the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by mental health issues.
Volunteers Week is a special time of year when we celebrate the contributions of volunteers across the UK. It’s a chance to recognise the impact that volunteers have on our communities and to encourage more people to get involved.
The Newport Mind event will take place on 3rd of June from 11am to 2pm at University of South Wales, Room C05. We will have a variety of activities and chances to speak to others that will provide valuable insights into the world of mental health volunteering. Whether you are an experienced volunteer or just starting out, this event is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and make a difference.
If you are unable to attend, why not share this information with your friends and family who may be interested in volunteering for mental health?
